How to apply the kas exam and how prepare the kas exam?

KAS-Karnataka Administrative Service.

Eligibility criteria:-

The application should hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

If you are persuing final year graduation then also you are eligible.

No need of percentage restrictions for KAS exam.

Applicant should be a citizen of India.


Age criteria:-

The age limitst are 21 to 35 years,

3years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.


Syllabus for Preliminary examination:-

Part-I:

Current events of national and international importance,

Humanities-history of india, economic, cultural and political aspects with a focus on indian national movement with special emphasis on karnataka.

World geography and geography of india with a special focus on Karnataka.

Indian polity and economy, rural development, planning and economic reforms in india, sustainable development, poverty alleviation, demographics, social sector initiatives.


Paper-II:


Current event of state government programmes, General science and technology, environment and ecology, biodiversity and climate.

General mental ability: Comprehension, logick reasoning and analytical ability, decision making, problem solving, basic innumeraby, data interpretation etc.
