When is GATE exam of 2011 conducted ?

the gate exam is scheduled to be comducted on the 12th of february and the last date of application is over long back and now you have no chance of writing the gate 2011 exam if you have not already applied,
now the only thing you could do is to prepare for this year and give the exam in the next year,and next time be carefull to fill the form in time,it would be avialable some were in the month of september

as you may aware of it that GATE is an selection for Masters programme in some of the prestigious colleges like IIT's and IISc's and many NIT's and many local universities and affliates colleges

and this particular exam is conducted by any one of the 7 IIT's

as this years gate exam is going to be held at 13th of this month.

and the procedure to conduct this exam is

this exam will be conducted second sunday of february every year in this way

next year you can calculate the date of the exam

Hello,

As you know the GATE exam for 2011 is scheduled fir 13th feb 2011.
The GATE is conducted by the various IITs for their Post Graduation program of IITs and IISC.
The date for next years GATE that is 2012 have not been declared as of yet, but is expected to be conducted in the 2nd week of february 2012.
As soon the dates are declares, it will be notified in this forum. Keep checking for updates.

General candidates and OBC candidates : 1000/-

SC/ST/PD candidates : 500/-

The application forms are available in two modes : Online and Offline.

GATE Stands for Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering and this examination was Conducted by IIT's. The Notification of GATE 2012 Examination was already Updated in the Official website.

To apply for GATE Examination you need to compete your 4 Year Graduate degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (OR)

You must have completed your Master degree course in any branch of Science/ Mathematics / Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent.

Those who are Pursuing the Final year Graduate/Master degree course may also eligible to apply for GATE Entrance Examination.

Pre- Final Year Candidates are Not eligible to apply for GATE Examination.

Important GATE Examination Dates 2012 -

>> The GATE Online application Registration was already started form - 12/Sep/2011.

>> The Last date of apply for GATE Examination was 17/Oct/2011.

>> The examination of GATE was started form 29/Jan/2012.
