The two of the main railway entrance examinations are RRB and SCRA.

RRB stands for Railway recruitment board and the examination is held for the recruitment of junior engineer and senior engineer in the Indian railways. For this examination you can fill up the application form by visiting the link www.rrb.gov.in or www.upsc.gov.in.

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and students passing clearing this examination are first given the B.Tech degree in Railway Colleges and then recruited as Engineers in Indian Railways. For getting the application form for this examination you can visit the website www.upsc.gov.in.
