How does a steam engine work? I want the video of working of steam engine also.

Steam engines work on the simple principle of conversion of energy into work,
a boiler is used to boil water to steam,to very high temperature, thus energy gets stored in from of heat energy, for this purpose coal(in old railway locos) gas or petroleoum products are combusted. NOw this steam at high temperature and pressure is used to push piston as it tries to come out, the movement of piston gets converted into motion
and can be used for variety of purposes.... locos pumps etc.
