Sir may i know Where will be the 3 year training held after got selected in nda?..will the training will be given in bangalore? Or the training will be only on new delhi plz answer the question madam/sir..

Training of NDA candidates mainly depends on the wing of NDA alloted to the candidate.

While filling application form of NDA, you will be asked to give priority for Air Force, Navy, Naval Academy, Army.

If you give priority '1' to Army, then there will be much probability for you to get recruited to Army wing of NDA.

Similarly, this probability holds for others.

The overall training of NDA is of 3 years.

Firstly, all NDA qualified candidates will be trained in Khadakwasla, Pune.

Then, they are sent to their respective Training Academies located in different parts of the country.

Following three training academies are:

• Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
• Indian Naval Academy, Kannur, Kerala
• Indian Air Force Academy, Dundigal, Telangana

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

UPSC conducts NDA examination twice in every year in the month of April and September for recruitment in defence .

To get selected in NDA , first, students need to clear the written examination then , the students are called for interview which will be of 5 days and conducted by SSB(Service Selection Board).

The students who cleared both the stage are eligible to get entry in NDA.

National Defence Academy is situated in South-West of Pune city and north-west of Khadakwasla lake in Maharastra.
After 3 years of rigorous training , the cadets become eligible to hold a rank in either Indian Army or Indian Navy or Indian Air Force or Naval Academy as selected by students at the time of admission.
