Respected Sir, I have applied for the NDA exam this year and I will be appearing for the exam very soon so I want to know whether Phone is allowed in the NDA entrance exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

It is strictly prohibited to bring any electronic device ie. Phones in Examination hall for NDA Entrance. Examination Centre Committee people will provide depository service where you can keep your mobile and other electronic devices with them outside of the Examination hall.

NDA refers to National Defense Academy and NDA entrance examinations are held twice every year for selection of deserving candidates to join NDA so that they can be appointed as a commissioned officer in Indian defense sector.

As far as you are concerned about whether the phone is allowed to be carried with candidates to examination center then it is clearly mentioned on NDA admit card that carrying of phones, smartwatches and other electronic gadgets, etc. to the examination center is not allowed as their safekeeping is not assured.

Further if you carry these things with yourself to the examination center then it is considered as an unfair means. So, it would be best that you must not carry banned things to the examination center and follow the rules and regulations of examinations provided on admit card and notification.

NDA entrance examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of candidates in defence services.

The examination is conducted in two stages as Written and SSB.

Any electronic gadgets such as Calculator, Phone etc are strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to bring inside the examination room.

So, you are not eligible for using or for bringing the phone duration examination. For more instructions read the information given on your admit card.

But as the mobile phone is one of the most important to reach the centre which is sometimes away for the home as well as now used in online studies. Students carry with them the phone and submit it at the examination centre.

At some centre the facilities are free while other charges for it.

Yes, you can take phone with you and submit it before the examination centre.

Facilities for placing your mobile phone with or without charges are available at examination centre although not as per notification of examination.
