While being in 1st year of B.Ed, can I apply for TET?

Currently, I'm pursuing my 1st year of B.Ed. So, while still being in 1st year of B.Ed as on 2018, am I eligible to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the coming session exam?

Candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary Examination or any equivalent exam with 50% of marks and also those who have passed or appearing or in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education can apply for the exam.

So you are not eligible to apply for TET being a 1st-year student of B.Ed.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
