Can we apply and write the IELTS examination if I have not qualified the 12th Board exams? What is the standard eligibility criteria for attending the IELTS examination?

Eligibility criteria to apply for IELTS examination are:-
Candidates' minimum age should be at least 16 years and they must have a valid passport.
Candidates will be planning to study in UK/ Australia/ Canada/ New Zealand/ USA
Candidates being a medical professional, planning to work or study further in UK/ Australia/ USA.
Candidates planning to emigrate to Canada/ Australia/ New Zealand.

Note - To enroll into an academic program in a country, one must have to enroll for IELTS Academic.
And for work/ work-related training or migration to an English speaking country, one can enroll for IELTS General Training.
