Hi, I am in my final year of B.Sc Chemistry. Am I eligible to apply for the post of Break Inspector in Indian Railways? If yes, then when and how can I apply? Which entrance do I need to write? And, what is the pay scale of Break Inspector in Indian Railways?

Eligibility criteria to become a break inspector in Indian railway:-

The candidate should have completed 10th standard and a diploma in automobile engineering or mechanical engineering to apply for the post of break inspector.

Age limit should be in between 21 years to 30 years.

You have to apply for an entrance exam conducted by State public service commission.
