Will I be considered pass or fail if got absent in 2nd year?
AoA I got 78 marks In 1st year but absent in 2nd year because of some reason ...the question is I got pass or fail grade in this paper.

For most of the colleges in India, if any student is absent in any exam due to any reason (accidental, health, emergency etc) needs to re-write the exam during the supplementary exam round. There is no such separate exam for students being absent for the actual exam, they need to write the supplementary exam only, otherwise they will be given carry or year back.

If you are not present in the examination then you will be considered fail in the examination and have to reappear and qualify in the examination to get passing certificate.
