but its not sure what will be the branch you will get????

well there are around 9300 seats in IITs and IT BHU & ISM DHANBAD

with 10000 AIR you have good chance of getting a seat

most probably you will get a seat in newer iits or BHU or ISM DHANBAD

and the branches you will get most likely will be 5 year integrated or msc

courses.

it is difficult for you to get iit sea as your rank is 10000.

in iit-jee there is no reservation for girls .so, you may not get seat in iit

Dear Candidate,

Every year about 5 lakhs student appear in IIT-JEE exam and nearly 9000 get selections in IITs. In year 2011, approximately 9618 seats were there including new IITs like IT-BHU, ISM Dhanbad,etc.
You may get any seat in these colleges but I am not confirm which branch you will get.

The admission totally depends on cut-off at that time (which is normally high). Still, apply for admission and there may be a chance to secure a seat (since you have SC category).
But, if you are unable to make it, then you should try for other better universities for admission. Some of which are: Jamia Millia, NIT, BITS, Lovely Professional University (LPU), PU, Thapar, Osmania......; as they also provide good education and have better infrastructure. Refer to their website for more details regarding eligibility criteria and admission process.

Yes, you can get a seat in the seat in the IITs if you have secured a rank of 10000.

But you will not able to get the top IITs as their closing ranks are near to 3000-4000.
