Will there be problem if I have applied for LDC in open category but I am SC category?
Will there be a problem if I have applied for LDC in open category but I am SC category? Can you please let me know if I need to change and if so how to do that? It will be really helpful if you can get back to me soon on the same. Thank you!

Generally, there will be no problem if you have applied for Lower Division clerk exam in open category being a SC candidate.
The only disadvantage will be that you can not avail benefits of reservation applicable to candidates belonging to reserved category. You can write to examination conducting authority to rectify your mistake while applying for job. It depends upon them to accept your mistake or reject it. |
