Is wireless transmission lines better or not?and how?

There are several methods of transmission of power from one place to other place.

For example, electric power is transmitted from one place to other through:

1. Overhead transmission lines.

2. Underground cables.

Wireless power transmission is the latest method for transfer of power, but this method is yet to implemented for bulk amount of power transfer. There are several places in USA where it is used.

Wireless power transmission is achieved with the help of Solar Power Satellite. Every method has its own pros and cons. However it is better than overhead lines and underground cables.
