Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering are eligible for IFS exam.

Age criteria :-

Minimum Age = 21 years old
Maximum Age = 30 years old

Age relaxation :-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

Age limit for Indian Forest Service exam is :

For General Category candidate : 21 to 32 years
For OBC : 21 to 35 years
For SC/ST : 21 to 37 years

IFS - Indian Forest Service exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidate should be either a subject of Nepal, Bhutan.

* Candidates age should be minimum of 21 years and maximum of 32 years.

* Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST candidates is applicable.

* Candidate should have passed bachelor's degree in any stream from any recognized university or institution.

* Candidate should get at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

* Candidates with bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Animal Husbandry is preferable.

IFS stand for the both Indian Forest Service.
UPSC conducted this exam every year.

For applying this exam you need graduation degree with at least one of the subject Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statics, Zoology..etc
And age Limit is 21-30 years.
Maximum 33 years for the OBC candidates
Maximum 35 years for the SC/ST candidates.

Attempts-
General candidates- 4
OBC candidates -7
SC/ST candidates- No such restrictions
