Hello Sir/Madam, I am planning to apply for the Punjab PSC Civil Services Exam of 2020. But before that I would like to know about the age criteria, that is, what is the age limit for applying in this examination? Please let me know about the age criteria immediately.

>> Maximum age allowed - 37 years

>> Age criteria is considered as on 1st January, 2020. Of course there is an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.

Punjab PSC (Public Service Commission) Civil Services examination 2020:

** AGE LIMIT:

Upper Age Limit: 21 years.

Lower Age Limit: 37 years.

Age relaxation are available for reserved category candidates.

Age limit to apply for Punjab PSC Civil Services Exam 2020:-

Age limit:-
The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 37 years as on 1 January, 2020..

°°° PPSC has prescribed the Punjab PSC exam age limit as 21 to 37 years.
The PPSC age limit 2020 shall be calculated with respect to 01 January, 2020.


° Relaxation of up to 45 years is given to Punjab government, other state government or government of India employees.

° Relaxation of up to 33 years is provided SC/OBC in Punjab Police Service and Punjab Prisons Service.

° Relaxation of up to 42 years is provided to SC / OBC in other services.

°Relaxation of up to 42 years is provided to divorced womenx widows and certain other categories of women.

°Relaxation of up to 47 years is provided to other categories of women.

° Relaxation of up to 47 years is provided to physically Handicapped of Punjab only.

PPSC Age limit 2020:

•••The minimum age should be 21 years and Maximum should not exceed 37 years.
The age limit 2020 shall be calculated with respect to 1st January 2020.

Age limit to apply for Punjab PSC Civil services Exam 2020 are as mentioned below:-

For DSP and DSJ/DPO -
Minimum age limit - 21 years
Maximum age limit - 28 years

For other posts -
Minimum age limit - 21 years
Maximum age limit - 37 years

The age limit to apply for Public State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination 2020 is 21 years to 37 years as on 01.01.2020. Further, there is provision of age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government norms.

Note :- For the post of Deputy Superintendent Police and Deputy Superintendent Jails/District Probation Officer (Grade-II) in Punjab Police Service and Punjab Prisons Service, a candidate should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 28 years as on 01.01.2020.

Age limit to apply for Punjab PSC Civil Services Exam 2020 are as follows:-
21 years to 28 years for DSP and DSJ/DPO.
21 years to 3 years for other posts.

For Punjab Government, Other State Government or Government of India employees, upper age limit is 45 years.

For SC / OBC in Punjab Police Service and Punjab Prisons Service , upper age limit should be 33 years.

For SC / OBC in other services , upper age limit is 42 years.

For Divorced women, Widows, and certain other Categories of women, upper age limit is 42 years.

For other Categories of women, upper age limit is 47 years.
