Availibility of jobs in Government sector after completing B.Sc in Maths and Physics?


I m B.Sc final year student having Maths nd physics as my subjects.
plz tell me about jobs in govt.

After B.Sc with Math and Physics, you can get job in Private as well as Government sector.

PSC and UPSC exams test the mathematical ability of the candidate. The exams conducted in the public sector include which give importance to mathematics are:

SSC Combined Graduate Level exam

Tax Assistant exam

IBPS exam

Statistical Investigator exam

Grade III & Compiler Exam

Sing you are a graduate you have numerous government jobs to apply for. You have to write competitive exams like civil services, CDSE, etc.. You can get into administrative services, the railways, paramilitary, military. You have a further option of completing your post graduation and writing NET exam to join as a junior research fellow or as a lecturer. Await notification in the employment newspaper. It will be available at the local public library.

With B.sc qualification , you can apply for many Government jobs .
After completion of your B.sc ,

~ You can apply for the Ibps bank clerk exam to join in Banking sector.

Selection process is ,
1) Preliminary exam
2) Main exam
3) Interview


~ You can apply for the Civil services exam (ias , ips , etc.)

Selection process is ,
1) Preliminary exam
2) main exam
3) Interview



~ You can apply for the Post of Sub-Inspector of Police in State police department

~ You can apply for the post of JRF Life science in Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic research


~ You can apply for the post of JRF Maths in NIT Rourkela.
