I am a general category candidate. Now my age is 25-10-1982 and KVS TGT for post 31-10-217 till 35 then I can apply for this post. If any rules because within 1-2 years any vacancy not open by KVS.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for KVS Trained Graduate Teacher:

I am very sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for KVS Trained Graduate Teacher Post recruitment. Basically there is a certain age criteria for appearing in KVS Examination.

>> For Post Graduate Teacher - Upper age is 40 years

>> For Trained Graduate Teacher - Upper age is 35 years

>> For Primary Teacher - Upper age is 30 years

Age is considered as on 31st October, 2017. For KVS TGT posts, the maximum age limit is 35 years.

According to your date of birth, you have already crossed the age of 35 years by 25th October, 2017 and 6 days older already.

Hence, I am very sorry to say that you cannot apply for this recruitment being a General category candidate.

Eligibility Criteria for KVS TGT Post:-

Candidate must not exceed the age of 40 years for PGT( Post Graduate Teacher) and 35 years for a TGT ( Trained Graduate Teacher)

However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Age relaxation of SC / ST- 5 years

Age relaxation for OBC- 3 years.

A candidate must not be more than 40 years for PGT post and 35 years for TGT post.

Also for SC / ST age relaxation of 5 years is there and for OBC age relaxation of 3 years is there.

In order to apply for TGT position in KVS, you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> You should have completed bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized college/university.

> You must have a B.Ed degree from a recognized university.

> Your age should not exceed 35 years.

> You must have to qualify CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

No, as per today there is no notification regarding the TGT recruitment in KVS.

But as per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have attained the 35 years of age as on 31st October of year of appearing for examination are not eligible.

So, you have to wait for the notification of new vacancy for any updates about eligibility criteria.
