Hey there! Shrushti here.i passed my diploma in computer engineering with 9.14 CGPA from government college .now I m studying computer engineering (BE) from government college. Can I get government lecturer job in engineering college after BE? ME is compulsory ??
If ME is not compulsory then which exam should I clear?
And tell me eligibility for government lecturer?

To get recruitment as a lecturer in government colleges candidates have to appear and qualify in NET or SET examination.

The examination is conducted by UGC and State Education Board. The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed master's degree from a recognised University with minimum 55% marks.

There is no age limit to appear for examination.

NET examination is conducted twice in a year.

So, after qualifying in examination you will be eligible for recruitment as a lecturer in government colleges.

After completing post graduation you can appear for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission for college lecturership in government colleges.
The national eligibility test exam is conducted two times in a year.
