Hello everyone, can I know about the qualification which is essentially required to apply in MPPSC Librarian recruitment? I don't know about the qualification which is required. Kindly let me know all relevant details regarding this post also. Thank you!

Minimum eligibility required to apply for MPPSC Librarian recruitment 2018 :

1. Candidate must have passed master's degree in library science or information science or documentation science or equivalent from a recognised university and must have secured minimum 55% marks in the master's degree.

2. Candidate must have qualified national level examination such as NET/SET/SLET etc. related to library science conducted by UGC or any other equivalent authority/institution.

3. Those candidates who have passed PhD degree in relevant stream can also apply.

Age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and age must not exceed 44 years. Relaxation in upper age will be provided to reserved category candidates which is 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

Online application can be submitted by using MP online portal or official website of MPPSC between 05th June 2018 and 04th July 2018 and examination of this recruitment will be conducted on 18th August 2018 at different centres of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior cities of the state.
