I have completed ITI (Electrical). Now I am working in a government organisation, but I want to pursue diploma in distance education. Please give me details about this course and tell me whether this diploma is valid in railway?

It depends from where you are going to complete your diploma. If the open university is approved by the UGC, then can apply for the railway jobs as well as any other jobs. If not approved, then cannot apply.

If the university is recognized, then it is very much accepted, as recognized open Universities are very much valid and accepted all throughout the nation.

Therefore, if your university is a recognized one, you will very much be eligible to apply for railway examination.
