Hi Sir/Madam, I am in my 5th semester of BE with Electrical Engineering. I have started preparation of GATE and I am looking forward to secure job in BHEL. So, I would like to know that BHEL offers job through GATE or not?

Yes you are right. All big organizations like BHEL, GAIL, ONGC etc they are offering jobs on the base of GATE exams. Once you clear GATE then only you are eligible to start work with BHEL.

Till 2011, BHEL was recruiting engineers through all India common entrance test as well as through campus placement also but then in same year the supreme court asked PSU not to recruit through campus placement so they have started recruiting through GATE.
