Hi Sir, I want to apply for the recruitment of Junior Clerk Cum Typist of South Eastern Railway. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment. Please tell me asap.

The basic qualifications required to apply for the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist under the current opening in South Eastern Railway are as below :-

* You must be serving regular/ permanent Railway employees of South Eastern Railway working in grade pay/levels lower than the applied grade pay/levels.

* Your age must lie within 18 years to 42 years as on 01.01.2020 in case you belong to general category candidates. Age relaxation is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government norms.

* Your must have completed your Class 12th or equivalent in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Further, minimum marks criteria is not valid in case of candidates from SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, or candidates with higher educational qualification.

* You must hold a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
