Dear friends, I am interested to apply for UPTET recruitment. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment of this year. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

UPTET stands for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. This examination is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree (B.Ed, D.Ed, BTC, etc) in any stream with minimum 50% from a recognized university.

Candidate age must be 18 to 35 years.

Relaxation are available for reserved category.

Candidate must be an Indian.

The basic eligibility criteria that is required in order to apply for this UPTET Recruitment 2018 is given below,

Name of the Organization - Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB)

Name of the Job Position - Teacher

>> For Primary classes (1 to 5) and (6 to 8):-
@ You should have completed Intermediate with minimum 50% marks.
@ Candidates who have passed their Graduation or those who are pursuing 2nd year of BTC or passed in an institute that is affiliated to NCTE are also eligible.
@ Candidates who have passed their Graduation or those who are studying in the final year of D.Ed in an institute by RCI are also eligible
