Eligibility to join Indian Forest Service for B.E. student?


HELLO
i will be join to indian forestry service \
zone after finishing my BE degree,
now i am final year student?
can i eligible for this?

To join in Indian Forest Service, you need to appear in Indian Forest Service Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year. Eligibility criteria required to appear in IFS examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 32 years.

3. You must have completed Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from any recognised university.

4. You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

Since, you have your Bachelor's degree in Engineering, you are eligible to appear in Indian Forest Service Examination. By qualifying the written test and personal interview rounds, you can join in Indian Forest Services.

Yes, you are eligible for IFS exam.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service exam. This exam is conducted by UPSC.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering are eligible for IFS exam.

Final year student are also eligible for IFS exam,

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidate category.

Pattern for IFS exam:-

Paper I:- General English (300 marks)
Paper II:- General Knowledge (300 marks)
Paper III-VI:- Any two selected optional subject (200 marks for each paper)
Personality Test:- 300 marks

Yes,you are eligible to join Indian Forest service after completion of your graduation in Engineering.

UPSC conduct IFS exam for recruitment in forestry services of India.

The eligibility criteria to join IFS are following:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The candidate must posses a graduation degree from a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering or equivalent.
The candidates who are in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the preliminary exam conducted by UPSC.

-The candidate age limit should be in between 21 years to 30 years. There is age relaxation for OBC candidate by 3 years and SC/ST candidates by 5 years.

-IFS Exam Pattern

Paper I - General English-300 Marks

Paper II - General Knowledge-300 Marks

Paper III, IV, V & VI - Any two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers of 200 Marks for each paper.

Total marks for written examination is 1400 Marks.

Interview for Personality Test -300 Marks

Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Examination 2015 :

Candidate should know that IFoS examination is conducted every year in the month of July of the year and all willing candidates should have following eligibility to apply for this exam :

Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree with any one of the subjects namely as - Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology OR

Should possess bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Forestry or degree in any engineering discipline from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification.

Scheme/ Pattern of Examination :

Written examination is conducted of conventional type and following papers are conducted :

01. Paper I - General English Language - 300 marks.
02. Paper II - General Knowledge - 300 marks.
03. Paper III, IV, V and VI are conducted based on two subjects chosen by the candidate from the list of optional subjects available as per rules means one subject has two papers and each paper will consist of 200 marks.

List of optional subjects which can be chosen by the candidate :

>> Agriculture
>> Agriculture Engineering
>> Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
>> Botany
>> Chemistry
>> Chemical Engineering
>> Civil Engineering
>> Forestry
>> Geology
>> Mathematics
>> Mechanical Engineering
>> Physics
>> Statistics
>> Zoology

There is a provision that candidate can not choose combination of following subjects :

>> Agriculture and Agriculture Engineering
>> Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
>> Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
>> Mathematics and Statistics
>> Two Engineering disciplines/subjects together from the list of optional subjects.

If a candidate qualifies written examination successfully then he/she is called for personality test/ interview process and interview is consist of 300 marks and qualifying in interview process is compulsory to get the job.
