Eligibility to join kendriya vidyalaya as a Teacher after BSc?

The eligibility criteria for joining Kendriya Vidyalaya as a teacher after BSc depend on the subject you want to teach. To teach at the primary level (Classes I to V), you need to have a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree. To teach at the secondary level (Classes VI to X), you need to have a Bachelor's degree in the subject you want to teach, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree. For example, if you want to teach Science at the secondary level, you need to have a BSc degree in Science and a B.Ed degree.

To teach at the senior secondary level (Classes XI and XII), you need to have a Master's degree in the subject you want to teach, along with a B.Ed degree. For example, if you want to teach Mathematics at the senior secondary level, you need to have an MSc degree in Mathematics and a B.Ed degree.

Apart from the academic qualifications, you also need to clear the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to be eligible to teach in Kendriya Vidyalayas.
