Quote:
Yeah a English Honours Graduate can apply for the School Service Commission as you are satisfying the needed education qualification for applying. # The education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate appearing should have a Master's Degree from a UGC recognized University with at least 45% marks both at the Secondary Level and Higher Secondary Level, (OR) # The candidate should have 40% marks in the Honours subject at the Honours Level or 45% marks at the Pass Level for a candidate without having Honours Degree and 40% marks at the Post-Graduate Level, with degree in Bachelor of Teaching/ Bachelor of Education. # The age limit which is needed for the exam is that the candidate should have 20-40 years of age for General category candidates. # In the case of you being a SC/ST you will get 5 years exception or if you are a OBC you will get 3 years exception. If you are going to satisfy all these criteria then you can apply. ALL THE BEST |
