My dob is March 2000, am I eligible for upsc forum 2022? How to calculate my age for the same?

The age limit is calculated from the 01st August of year of appearing for the examination.

So, you are eligible to appear for 2022 examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and you have to appear and qualify in all stages for the final selection.

Age limit for UPSC CSE :-

General - 21-32 years.

OBC - 21-35 years.

SC/ST - 21-37 years.

The age limit for appearing in the Civil Services examination held by UPSC examination ( and hence popularly known as UPSC examination) is 21 years to 32 years as on 1st August of the year which the examination is being held. Further, there is provision of age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category as per the government norms.
