SDO is not higher in designation to I.A.S . So, candidates are not eligible to get promoted to S.D.O .
Yes, after the foundation course candidates before their joining as DM have to do training as SDM, SDO etc. With years of service and having quality of service helps someone to get promoted in different designation. |
