After completion of intermediate in commerce you cannot join Indian Navy as after 12th only science stream students are eligible for NDA exam. But you can join Navy after completion of your graduation through CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC. You can apply for short term service in the Navy. For more information you can go to the official website of UPSC or Indian Navy. Thanks

After 10+2, one can join Indian Navy through NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria to join Indian Navy through NDA exam are as under :-

Qualification : 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Age limit : 16.5 to 19.5 years.

Marital Status : Unmarried and only male candidates.

So, as per above mentioned eligibility criteria, you are not eligible for Indian Navy.

No, you are not eligible to appear for the recruitment as officer in Indian Navy after 12th with polytechnic or 12th with commerce stream.

The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is candidate must have 10+2 with science stream and age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

So, you are not eligible to appear for NDA examination conducted by UPSC on above qualification. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

As you are a student of commerce stream, so you are not eligible to join Indian Navy as an officer. In order to become an officer in Indian Navy you should have taken Physics and Mathematics as your subjects in your 12th standard. And to become an officer your qualification is not enough you must have a bachelor's degree to get into the above mentioned position. As your subjects are totally different from the subjects in commerce stream, so you are not eligible to join Indian Navy.

For recruitment in Indian Navy as an Officer after 12th candidates have to appear and qualify in NDA examination conducted by UPSC.

The examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th from a recognised board and have Physics and Mathematics as main paper.

The age limit to appear for examination is 16.5-19.5 years. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination after 12th with commerce stream and polytechnic. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.
