Sir, i have completed my b.tech ece. I want to join any higher post in police department. How can i do that? Also tell me which exam is need to be cleared for this?

Yes, you can join in the police department for various posts as you have completed graduation.

The highers posts in the Police department are :

* Director General of Police (DGP).

* Additional Director of General of Police (ADGP).

* Inspector General of Police (IGP).

* Superintendent of Police (SP).

The candidate who want to get recruited in the highest post should first join the lower posts and through promotions he will be recruited in the highest post.

To get recruited, the eligible candidates should take the Civil services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be in the range of 21-30 years.

* Candidate should complete graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

* Candidate should be physically fit without any deformities.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

* Written exam.

* Medical test.

* Personal Interview.
