I am an Nepal citizen can i become a NIA special agent in India?

You must meet certain requirements in order to work for the National Investigation Agency. The following are the requirement for becoming an NIA Officer.

Citizenship

There are two options for nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian national.
- The subject of Nepal, or Bhutan.
A Tibetan Refugee arrived in India before January 1, 1962 and settled permanently.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old to join NIA and maximum age limit is 30 years. However, age relaxation is there for reserved categories SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EX-SERVICEMEN.

Qualification

You must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in order to join the NIA. Candidate cannot join NIA directly aspirant need to qualify an exam like SSC CGL exam or UPSC.

If you have all the above qualification like education and age limit then yes, Nepal citizen are eligible for NIA.
