Hi I am a female BE student and completed my graduation in year 2022,I want to join cds, so please answer me that what is the minimum height to join cds

The minimum acceptable height to join CDS 2022:-

1) For male candidates is 157.5 cms. (157 cms for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force).

2) For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

CDS is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is conducted for recruitment in defence forces.

>> For 152 cms minimum height, weight required according to the age is given below:
* For 18 years - 44 kg
* For 20 years - 46 kg
* For 22 years - 47 kg
* For 24 years- 48 kg

The minimum permissible height for female candidates to join CDS is 152 cm. Gorkhas and people from the hills of India's North-Eastern regions such as Garhwali and Kumaon will be allowed to be 5 cm shorter. The minimum permissible height for candidates from Lakshadweep can be lowered by 2 cm. After all kinds of waivers/dispensations, the minimum height for all entries is 148 cm.
