I have cleared the AFCAT(held on 27th march).currently i m a student of mechanical engineering(3rd yr).
can anyone tell me what are the next steps & if i get the job my scope after retirement(it is written that the service duration is 10 yrs from the date of joining)

After clearing AFCAT, you will be called for AFSB interview. If you are successful, then you will become eligible for joining after medical checkup. You will be recruited as an officer.

After completion of your service, you can also apply for extension if you are interested in doing the same job. If not, then you can look for other options in private sector or government sector based on your experience and skills. You will also get pension after retirement having completed the required service period.
