Re: Relaxation in WB school service commission
The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) provides certain relaxations in eligibility criteria for various categories, including ex-servicemen. These relaxations aim to provide opportunities to individuals from diverse backgrounds and acknowledge the valuable experience and skills gained during military service. The specific relaxations offered by WBSSC may vary from one recruitment cycle to another. It's essential to refer to the official notifications and guidelines provided by WBSSC for the most accurate and up-to-date information. Here are some common relaxations that may be available:
1. Age Relaxation: Ex-servicemen often receive age relaxation in upper age limits for applying to WBSSC exams. The extent of the age relaxation may depend on factors such as the category of the candidate, the specific recruitment, and the rules established by WBSSC. 2. Educational Qualification Relaxation: In some cases, WBSSC may provide relaxations in educational qualifications for ex-servicemen. This can vary depending on the nature of the job and the specific recruitment. 3. Reservation: Ex-servicemen may also be eligible for reservation benefits as per the guidelines set by the government of West Bengal. These reservations are typically a percentage of the total vacancies available and may be applicable to different categories of ex-servicemen. 4. Experience Consideration: WBSSC may consider the military service experience of ex-servicemen as valuable experience for certain positions. This can be an advantage during the selection process or while determining the eligibility criteria. |
