Selection procedure through UPSC-IAS recruitment?


Hello Sir, I have applied in UPSC-IAS recruitment of this year. But I don’t know how they are going to select the candidates. Can you please let me know about the selection procedure? Please let me know immediately. Waiting for your response.

Selection of the candidates through UPSC-IAS recruitment will be on the basis of following steps:

1). Preliminary Examination

2). Mains Examination

The selection procedure of UPSC-IAS recruitment involves three rounds which are mentioned below:-

—> Preliminary Examination
—> Mains Examination
—> Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear in Mains Examination and those who qualify in the Mains Examination will be called for Personal Interview and based on the candidate’s performance, final selection will be done.

First thing I would like to let you know that UPSC IAS recruitment examination is officially known as the Civil Services examination which is held by UPSC once every year.

Further, the selection procedure for the Civil Services examination comprises of three stages which includes :-

--> Stage I : Preliminary Test.

--> Stage II : Mains.

--> Stage III : Personal Interview.

For details regarding the examination pattern for each stage, you can refer to the official notification released for the same examination.

Name of the Services - Indian Administrative Services

Civil Service Examination is conducted in three stages. The examination is conducted by UPSC.

For final selection candidates have to appear and qualify in all stages of examination.

The three stages are :-

Preliminary.

Mains.

Interview.

The examination is conducted in three stages.

So, you have to appear and qualify in all the stages :-

Preliminary.

Mains.

Interview.
