Hello sir, I am Civil Engineer and want to appear in APPSC exam. What is the syllabus of APPSC Civil Assistant Engineer exam both technical and non technical?

The syllabus for the APPSC Civil Assistant Engineer exam is as follows:

Technical Syllabus:

Strength of Materials and Theory of Structures
Reinforced Concrete Structures
Steel Structures
Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines
Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering
Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering
Transportation Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Surveying and Levelling
Construction Planning and Management

Non-Technical Syllabus:

• Current events of National and International importance
• General Science and its applications to the day-to-day life and contemporary developments in science and technology and information technology
• Geography with focus on Indian geography
• Indian Polity and Governance: Constitutional issues, public policy, reforms and e-governance initiatives.
• Economic development in India since independence with emphasis on Andhra Pradesh.
• Disaster management: vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in the assessment of Disaster.
• Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection.
• Logical reasoning, analytical ability, and data interpretation.

The technical syllabus consists of topics related to civil engineering while the non-technical syllabus consists of topics related to general awareness, reasoning, and analytical ability.

As for the number of seats available in the Allahabad zone for the APPSC Civil Assistant Engineer exam, I'm sorry but the exam is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) which is not under the jurisdiction of the Indian Railways.
