What is the current CWE exam pattern for Clerical Cadre?

I have been register for the CWE test for the clerical post. So please tell me about the current CWE exam pattern for the clerical cadre?

> Preliminary Exam (Qualifying Type)
> Mains Exam
> Personal Interview

* English - 30 Questions - 30 Marks
* Numerical Ability - 35 Questions - 35 Marks
* Reasoning Ability - 35 Questions - 35 Marks

@ Main Examination Structure:
* Reasoning - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
* Quantitative Aptitude - 40 Questions - 40 Marks
* English Language - 40 Questions - 40 Marks

IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written Examination and it is held for recruitment for different public sector banks. From 2015 there is change in the examination pattern, there are three stages in this exam.

Stage I: Preliminary exam

It is of 100 marks and one hour duration consisting of 30 questions from English, 35 questions each from aptitude and reasoning ability. Those who clear this stage are eligible for the mains stage.

Stage II: Mains exam:

It is of 200 marks and contains 200 questions, 40 each from aptitude, reasoning, English, general awareness and computer knowledge.

Third stage is interview for mains qualified candidate.

Exam pattern for Clerical Cadre posts is given below :

The exam generally have 200 total questions that you have to solve in TWO HOURS. Each question weigh one marks.

For your kind information the major portion of exams is from the following sections :

** Reasoning Ability
** Numerical Ability
** General English
** General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry
** Computer Knowledge

For each wrong answer given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank there will be no penalty for that question.

CWE stands for Common Written Examination.

IBPS(Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection) conducts Common Written Examination(CWE) every year.

Nowadays, examinaton process of bank examination is changed.

Examination is conducted in three stages:-

* Stage 1- Preliminary Examination
In this examination, time duration is one hour, total marks is 100, and 35 questions each from reasoning and aptitude and 30 questions from english section.
After qualifying in this examination, you can give the next examination.

* Stage 2- Mains Examination.
In this examination, total marks is 200, 40 questions each from english, general awareness, aptitude, reasoning and computer.

* Stage 3- Personnel Interview.

Eligibility Criteria required for IBPS CWE examination:-

* Completion of Graduation in any stream from any recognised university.

* Final year candidates are also eligible.

* Age limit:- 20-30 years.

* Age relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

* English communication skill is very good.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The procedure of selection of I.B.P.S C.W.E Clerk 2015:

> Preliminary
> Mains
> Personal Interview

Structure of Preliminary Examination :

English - 30 Questions - 30 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude - 35 Questions - 35 Marks
Reasoning - 35 Questions - 35 Marks

Structure of Main Examination :

Reasoning - 40 Questions - each question carry 1 mark in every section.
Quantitative Aptitude - 40 Questions
English Language - 40 Questions
General Awareness along with Banking Industry - 40 Questions
Computer Knowledge - 40 Questions

Then after you will get called for Personal Interview.

# CWE for recruitment of clerks and probationary officers in government sector Banks is conducted by IBPS.
# The minimum educational qualification required to apply for these exams is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution or university.
# Age limit to apply for Clerk is 18-28 years and for PO post is 20-30 years and the Age relaxations are as per government guidelines.
# The pattern of CWE is
1)preliminary exam
2)main exam
3)personal interview.
# preliminary exam is for 100 marks which consists of quantitative aptitude, reasoning and English language.
# Main exam is for 200 marks which contains reasoning, aptitude, English language, general awareness with special reference to banking industry and computer knowledge.
