Hello sir, i am studying btech in the stream of ece and i want to join in income tax department after completion of my btech, please help me that what exams i should write to get job in Income Tax department

The very best examination I would suggest you to go ahead with is "Staff Selection Commission CGL" Examination. The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for this examination is given below.

Name of the organization- Staff Selection Commission

Name of the job position- Income Tax officer in IT department

>> Candidates must have completed Graduation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute to be eligible.

>> The minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 27 years. Of course there is an age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

After B.Tech you are eligible to apply for Civil Service examination as well as Combined Graduate Level examination.

Candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for the examination. The age limit varies with examination.

So, you need to do better preparation for the examination as per the syllabus to get the final selection.

Candidate have to appear and qualify in CGL examination.
CGL stands for Graduate Level Examination.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-
Candidate must have passed graduation degree from any recognised University.

Candidate age must be between 18 to 27 years with relaxation for reserved category.

So, you need to appear and qualify in entrance examination.

There are two examinations which you can write after bachelor's degree in order to join Income Tax Department:

1. Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level examination.

2. Civil Services examination.

After completion of Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering, you can apply for either of exams.

From final year, have look at the syllabus of the exam for which you want to apply and prepare so that you can crack the exam in first attempt.

SSC GCL or Union Public Service Commission are the exams to get in Income Tax Department.
