Respected Sir, I want to know will I be eligible to become a Police officer after completing B.Sc with any subject? Please answer as soon as possible.

For being a police officer you have to give IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC. Minimum educational qualification for this exam is graduation in any stream from a recognized university. So after completing your graduation you will be eligible for IPS exam. Thanks

In order to become a Police Officer you must complete your bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized college/university. So, after completing B.Sc in any subject you will be eligible to appear for the entrance examination which is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of police.

You have to appear for the Civil Services Examination after graduation and for that your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years. For SC/ST candidates the age is relaxed by 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years.

Yes, after completion of B.Sc degree in any subject, you can apply for IPS exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized University then you are eligible for IPS exam 2016.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 32 years for general candidates.

Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman
