No, without mathematics subject you are not eligible for B. Com course in St. Xavier's College. To get admission for B. Com course in St. Xavier's College, candidate should have passed 12th standard or equivalent qualification with mathematics as a main subject from recognized university.

B.Com Eligibility Criteria (St. Xavier's College):-

• Passed the Intermediate examination with Maths / Business Maths / Business Eco with Maths as a compulsory subject from recognized university.
• Should have a minimum of 60% marks and relaxation will be applicable for reserved category students.
• The Selection will be made based on 12th board exam followed by Interview.

For getting admission in B.Com you need to have the following Documents along with you :

1. Transfer certificate.
2. Mark sheet.
3. Character certificate.
4. Migration certificate.
5. Qualifying marks in your 12th Board.

Present this in front of the authority and you will be admitted.

There must be some or the other way for a student who secured good marks in 12th but he didnt take Maths instead he took comp.science, His subjects - Computer science, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Languages. And now he applies for B.com (Hons.) And he doesnt get and for the same criteria , A sT or SC gets into the clg. , This rule should be put down !!

I suggest you should go through the official website of the university to check the eligibility criteria of a particular course in which you are interested. Further, cut-off of DU goes really high (even this year also), so if you have got very good percentage, only then you'll be able to make into it. Otherwise, you should look for other good universities like:
PEC
Lovely Professional University
Thapar University
Panjab University...... etc

Yes, you can get admission in St.Xavier's College in B.Com Hons without having Maths in 12th standard .But the only thing you have to pass in Entrance exam.
