I've taken admission for Diploma in Mass Communication , it is 1 year course. I wanted to take admission for Bachelor's course but the seats were full so , they told me to take admission for diploma and then they told me that after completing this course I can get admission directly for 2nd year Bachelor's course ? Is this possible ? And will I get Bachelor's certificate after completing it ? I have taken admission in TMV and it is affiliated by UGC . So , am I able to give UPSC after doing my Bachelor Course this way ?

°°° Of course, it is possible for you to complete the diploma course and, then you can get admission directly in second year of Bachelor Degree Course.
It is only possible after completion of diploma course.
This type of admission, that is given directly in second year of the bachelor's degree course is known as lateral entry.
Admission to the bachelor's degree will be given on the basis of lateral entry e on the basis of of marks secured by you in your diploma.

In order to take admission to UG course , candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognised university or board.

A diploma holder which is equivalent to class 12 can take admission to BE or B.tech first year.

B.tech is best course after doing diploma
Diploma is typically completed with 12 to 18 months of full time study.
It's usually deemed to be equivalent to the 1st year of degree.
