Admission criteria to study BAMS in JB Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital?

The minimum eligibility required to to study BAMS in JB Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and Biology with minimum 55% marks from a recognized board. Relaxation of 5% marks is offered to the candidates belonging to SC/St category.
You should have attained the age of 17 years but should not be more than 21 years of age. You would need to attend the Medical Entrance Test to get admission in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery followed by councelling. The basic requirement for the eligibility to get the admission to Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme is qualifying the 12th Standard with science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the examination with 50% aggregate marks in subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.
Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including 1-year internship. |
