Yes, you are eligible for AFCAT being a final year Biomedical student.

You are not eligible for Flying branch and Technical branch, but you are eligible for Ground Duty Branch.

Age limit : 20 to 26 years.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Normally, AFCAT conducts examination for,

- Flying Branch
- Technical Branch
- Ground Duty Branch

Educational Qualification required for AFCAT:-

For Flying Branch: Applicants need to complete graduation with not less than 60% of marks from a recognized university. In addition to that applicant need to have physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and Graduation as well.

For Technical Branch: Applicant need to get a B.Tech degree in Aeronautical Engineering with 60% of marks from a recognized university.

No, you are not eligible to appear for the AFCAT examination being a bio medical student. For the ground and flying.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university.
* Candidate age must be between 20-24 for the Flying and upto 26 years for the ground.
* Candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate in the graduation and have studied the PCM upto 10+2.

AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test

The eligibility needed for joining in AFCAT depends on what branch you are choosing. There are 3 branches in AFCAT :

• Ground Duty
• Flying Branch
• Technical Branch

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India.

Ground Duty Branches:

# Age limit needed is 20-27 years of age.

# He/she should have the PG or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Flying Branch

# The age limit needed is between 19-23 years.

# The candidate must have the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

Technical Branch

# The age limit needed is 18-28 years of age.

If you are Graduate then surely you are eligible for AFCAT but you need to fulfill the age criteria also. Age limit for this exam is 19 to 23 for Ground Duty Branch and Flying Branch.

For ground duty branch any stream graduates are eligible but for flying branch you need maths at 10 2 or degree level. Selection is based on performance in written exam and interview.
