Is karnataka state open university bachelor of education(B. ed) is approved by national council
Teacher Education (NCTE)?

No, the B.Ed course offered by Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is not approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). But, the university is recognised by the below mentioned organisations :-

--> The Distance Education Council (DEC) New Delhi,

--> Regular member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi,

--> Permanent member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) London UK,

--> Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China,

--> And also has association with Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

Is Karnataka state open university ncte approved for diploma in education in session 2015-2016&2016-2017 ?
