There is a good chance that the students will get the position because only a small number of students graduate as CAs each year. It has been noted that for comparable positions, CAs are hired at a higher position than engineers.

If you enjoy mathematics and problem-solving, you might enjoy a career in Mechanical Engineering. If you have an aptitude for numbers, an interest in business and finance, and enjoy working with financial data, Chartered Accountancy might be a better choice for you.

Chartered Accountancy is a highly sought-after profession in India, with a wide range of job opportunities in fields such as taxation, accounting, auditing, and finance. With the Indian economy growing and more businesses expanding, the demand for qualified CAs is expected to remain high.

Both CA and Mechanical Engineering are excellent career options, but they are entirely different fields with their own pros and cons. Choosing one over the other depends on your interests, skills, and career goals.

Mechanical Engineering is a field of engineering that deals with the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, such as machines, engines, and tools. It is a highly technical field that requires strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of physics and mathematics. The demand for mechanical engineers is expected to grow in the coming years, and they can work in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and construction. The salaries offered to mechanical engineers vary depending on their experience, skills, and the industry they work in, but in general, they can earn a good salary.

CA, on the other hand, is a field of finance that deals with accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. It is a highly professional field that requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations. The demand for CA is also expected to grow in the coming years, and they can work in various industries such as banking, finance, accounting, and taxation. The salaries offered to CA also vary depending on their experience, skills, and the industry they work in, but in general, they can earn a good salary.

Both careers have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice ultimately depends on your interests and skills. If you are passionate about engineering and have a strong aptitude for math and physics, mechanical engineering may be a good fit for you. If you have a strong aptitude for finance and accounting, and enjoy working with numbers and financial data, then CA may be a good fit for you. It is essential to consider your strengths, interests, and career goals before making a decision.

Some additional points to consider:

Job Opportunities: Both Mechanical Engineering and CA offer good job opportunities in India. Mechanical Engineers can work in industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and construction, while CAs can work in banking, finance, accounting, and taxation industries. The demand for both professions is expected to grow in the coming years.

Career Growth: Both Mechanical Engineering and CA offer good career growth opportunities. As a mechanical engineer, you can progress from a junior engineer to a senior engineer, project manager, or technical director. As a CA, you can progress from a trainee to an associate, manager, partner, or CFO.

Work-Life Balance: Mechanical Engineering and CA offer different work-life balance. Mechanical engineers usually work in shifts or long hours in industries, while CAs work in an office environment and usually have fixed working hours. However, both professions may require long hours during peak periods or when working on critical projects.

Salary: Salaries offered to mechanical engineers and CAs vary depending on their experience, skills, and industry they work in. In general, CAs tend to earn higher salaries than mechanical engineers, but this also depends on other factors such as location, company, and job position.

Education and Certification: To become a mechanical engineer, you need to complete a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, while to become a CA, you need to complete the CA course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Both professions require continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in their field.

In summary, both Mechanical Engineering and CA offer good career opportunities in India, and the choice ultimately depends on your interests, skills, and career goals. Both professions require hard work, dedication, and continuous learning, but they can be rewarding and fulfilling careers.
