Course structure of BSL+LLB in St. Wilfred’s College of Law, Mumbai?


Hello friends, can you please tell me about the structure of BSL+LLB course which is available in St. Wilfred’s College of Law, Mumbai? Kindly tell me about the structure of this course. Thank you!

St. Wilfred's College of Law offers two courses in law - LL.B for 3yrs and B.L.S. LL.B for 5yrs law degree course. B.L.S.LL.B Degree is a ten semester full time course.

Course structure:
1st year - General English, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Macro Economics, Policies & Practice, Theoretical Perspectives of Sociology

2nd year - Legal Language and Legal Reasoning, Public Policy and Public Administration, Theories of Development and Indian Economy, Society in India, Law and Literature, International Relations, Law and Economics, Social Research and Methods

3rd year - Family Laws, Law of Crimes, Labour Laws, Optional papers (Any one - Trust, Equity, and Fiduciary Relationship, Criminology and Penology, Women and Law and Law Relating to the Child, International Economic Laws), Constitutional Law, Law of Torts and Consumer Protection Act, Professional Ethics, Accountancy for Lawyers and Bar-Bench Relations

4th year - Law of Evidence, Environmental law Including Laws for Protection of Wild Life and other Living Creatures including animal welfare, Human Rights and International Laws, Arbitration, Conciliation and Alternative Disputes Resolution System, Jurisprudence, Property Law Including Transfer of Property Act and Easement Act, Public Interest Lawyering, Legal Aid and Para Legal Services, Optional Paper (omparative Law, Insurance Law, Conflicts of Laws, Intellectual Property Law)

5th year - The Code of Civil Procedure and Limitation, Land Laws including ceiling and other Local Laws, Interpretation of Statutes, Administrative Law, ptional (Law of Taxation, Banking Laws Including Negotiable Instrument Act, Co-operative Laws, Securities and Investment Laws),Code of Civil Procedure 1973 Juvenile Justice Act (Care and Protection of Children Act 2000 and Probation of Offenders, Company Law, Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing, Practical Training (Moot Court, Pre Trial Preparations and Participation in Trial Proceedings) Viva, Internal.
