Re: BE CSE or B.Sc computer science which is better for an average student? Syllabus and other details?
For average student B.Sc computer science is enough.Keeping the good career in mind,I would suggest you to go for B.E/B.Tech Computer science engineering stream rather than B.Sc Computer Science. In the B.Sc graduation course you may find not much knowledge you acquire rather than in B.Tech or B.E.So B.E is a Bachelor of Engineering in specialized subject.
Generally the Syllabus in the B.Sc course consists of the topics such as Principles of Programming,Computer Architecture,Robotics programming,Object oriented programming,Logic and Data base theory,Software engineering and human computer interactio,Mathematics and Statistics,Compilers,Functional programming,Interaction design,Networked sysems,Artificial Intelligence and Neural computing,Operating systems,Cimputational complexity,Databased and Information manaement systems,Networkd systems and more. As far as the JOBS and Recruitments are concerned, the most of number of candidates will be recruited by the Multinational software companies in Huge Number rather than hiring B.Sc in Computer science stream candidates. So there is nothing like Average or Ordinary Student,Merit student and Non Merit student. So you try to read subjects in the semester daily and Perform well in the examinations. So that you will become an Average student to Merit student. So that your career graph goes well and on increasing manner.Soon after completion of the B.E/B.Tech you may find employment in TCS,CTS,Infosys,IBM,Accenture,Lenovo,Capgemini,Del l,Tech Mahindra and more.If you then want you may go for the further studies such as M.Sc,B.Ed,M.C.A,M.Tech,Masters in Business Administration and more. |

Re: BE CSE or B.Sc computer science which is better for an average student? Syllabus and other details?
See, BSc and BE are two different fields and there is a huge difference in level of education.
BE can give you a quite promising job. Yes, it is true that pursuing mere BSc will not get you a promising job according to the present market trend since there are many engineering graduates searching for the same jobs so the MNCs hire them as their employees. To get a good job in the field of computers you have to pursue the MSc. Many MNCs hire MSc CS graduates as the system analyst and pay them about 3-4 lacs per annum as per the present trend. |
