Cutoff marks required to secure rank under 1000 in JEE Advanced? Can I get admission in IIT with rank under 1000?
Hello everyone,
How many marks I need to gain rank under 1000 in JEE Advanced? Please let me know about the marks. And I want to know that if I get rank under 1000 then I will get admission in IIT or not? |

With a rank of under 1000 you are ensured of getting admission to IIT.
You need to score more than 180 if you want to get a rank within 1000. The scores vary from year to year but 180 must be scored by you in JEE Advanced if you are looking for a rank of under 1000. |

Marks and ranks reationship will depend on the difficulty level and negative marking scheme.As it turned out in 2015 Jee advanced around 70% marks ensured an AIR of 100.However to get AIR 100 in JEE 2014 and JEE 2013 one had to score 77%.
so its better to secure over 65% of the marks to ensure a rank below 1000. |
