I want to join Vananchal Dental College and Hospital Garhwa for studying BDS. I am interested to do this course in my Graduation but I don’t know about the eligibility criteria. Kindly tell me about the eligibility criteria for getting admission and studying BDS in this college.

Vananchal Dental College and Hospital Garhwa is offering BDS course. To be eligible for this course, you must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from a recognized institute/board.
You must have secured at least 50% (40% for ST/SC or OBC) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together and must have passed in English.
You must have qualified NEET/State Combined Medical Entrance Examination or any equivalent examination. Admission to this course will be on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance test.

You must have attained the minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st July of the current year.

B.D.S. or Bachelor of Dental Surgery is an undergraduate Dentistry course. The required eligibility to study BDS in Vananchal Dental College and Hospital Garhwa is the candidate should have passed 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required in the 12th class to get admission in Bachelor of Dental Surgery is 50%. The admission of the candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination like NEET and the duration of Bachelor of Dental Surgery is 4 years.

The eligibility to study BDS at Vananchal Dental College and Hospital Garhwa is a candidate must have done 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology together and must have passed in English with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate for general category and for SC/ST it is 40% marks in aggregate.
