Hi friends, I want to secure admission in Harcourt Butler Technical University for studying BTech(Biochemical Engineering). I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for securing admission. Kindly tell me what is the eligibility criteria for studying this course in this institute.

The eligibility to study BTech in Biochemical Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technical University is a candidate must have done a 10+2 with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate for general category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Admission selection will be done on the basis of Entrance examination plus merit based selection in JEE Main or UPSEE followed by counseling.

Eligibility to study B.Tech (Biochemical Engineering) in Harcourt Butler Technical University:

Minimum educational qualification required for B.Tech (Biochemical Engineering) is 12th standard of U.P. Board or (10 + 2) Examination from any other board with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board.

The admissions shall be based on the mark scored by the candidate in the JEE (Main / any other National Level Entrance Examination as specified by the University.

To pursue B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree course in Biochemical engineering or any other discipline at Harcourt Butler Technical University, the minimum education required is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects with minimum of 60% marks ( or 55% marks in case of SC/ST candidate ) in aggregate from a recognized board of education.

Eligibility required are as follows;

You must have passed HSC/10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with any one of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject as optional subject from a recognized institute.
You must have secured at least 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
And
You must have a valid rank in JEE main or any other National Level Entrance Examination as specified by the University.

Admission will be done on the merit of the candidates in the entrance test.
